Military and Veteran Support

Support for those who Serve their counrty

Readjustment to civilian life can be challenging and feel chaotic when no one has rank with defined roles and systems. Open conversation about your experiences as someone that is active duty, a veteran, or as a family member of someone that has served, can help you gain insight, improve mood and reduce stressors. Within your service you may have experienced combat, international travel, long deployments, dangerous situations and traumatic experiences. As a family member supporting someone while they served can have uncertainty, isolation, or frequent adjustment to new environments and places. We are here to empower you to learn new ways to connect with your family and daily environments.

Diagnoses

Exploring your symptoms and unique experiences can identify a diagnosis where you can better understand your reaction and plan a response. As some return to civilian life after service or as a supportive family member you may have observed sudden changes in emotions like anxiety, fear, depression, anger, or paranoia. Or in behaviors like sitting with your back to the wall, making sure exits are visible, or protective behaviors in public spaces like avoiding bags on the ground or debris. Together lets work on your concerns so you learn new ways to navigate civilian issues and function with greater ease within your family and work.
